Prime Creative Media hosts 10th Anniversary of Women in Industry Awards to a sold-out crowd
Prime Creative Media held the 10th Women in Industry Awards on 8 June 2023 in Melbourne, to a sold-out crowd of more than 370 industry leaders in the mining, engineering, road transport, logistics, rail, bulk handling, infrastructure and waste management sectors.
The annual awards celebrate the achievements of women in these industries that are the backbone of the Australian economy. Following Prime Creative Media’s purpose of Growing Individuals, Organisations and Industries, the awards are an opportunity to recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals, which in turn promotes diversity and the success of their respective companies and industries.
“We know that when we are successful in promoting women in the workplace, it’s our businesses that win,” said Prime Creative Media COO Christine Clancy in opening the event. “We’re hoping we can make a difference by celebrating the incredible women in this room and the achievements you have made in your industries. With these awards, we hope other women will take inspiration from you, and be able to see themselves in positions of leadership, success and more.”
Ms. Clancy was happy to point out that Prime Creative Media has benefitted from a diverse leadership team itself, with 50 per cent of its executive team currently women.
This year’s awards program saw the highest number of nominations to date, with a total of 158 submissions. Out of these, 62 finalists were selected and judged by a panel of industry experts. To see the full list of winners visit womeninindustry.com.au/winners/
