Prime Creative Media Acquires Roads & Civil Works Magazine

Prime Creative Media (PCM) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Roads and Civil Works magazine. The magazine and all of the digital platforms have been acquired by PCM, and will continue as going concerns.

Commstrat was placed into administration after failing to secure ongoing support of its bank.

Managing Director of PCM, John Murphy, has been in discussions with CommStrat for many months, and says that the opportunity to bring Roads and Civil Works into the PCM portfolio of publications represents exciting growth and development opportunities.

“The magazines will fit our B2B business model well and we believe we can make a valuable contribution to the government and infrastructure sectors,” says John.

Roads and Civil Works Magazine will join leading PCM transport titles Prime Mover, Diesel, Trailer, Global Trailer and CRT News, placing PCM as the undisputed leader in information and marketing for the transportation and infrastructure sectors.

PCM has invested heavily in the industry’s best journalists and publishing resources to ensure it remains relevant and effective in a changing business landscape. PCM’s business model is to develop outstanding communications platforms for high-growth, highly targeted industries, and to resource those industries for continued growth. At the heart of this model are high-quality print publications, targeted and valuable digital communication channels, and world-class events.

“We respect and value the contribution that the Roads and Civil Works publications have made to the industry, and we’ll continue to ensure that they deliver leading editorial and the highest production values well into the future,” says John.

He notes that it will be business as usual for Roads and Civil Works Magazine, with no plans for any major changes to what has become a valuable industry resource. However, PCM is committed to continuing to develop the Roads & Civil Works brand well into the future.
